The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is spreading around the world, with no relief in sight in Japan and elsewhere. Given this situation, we at Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (OUAVM) established the COVID-19 Countermeasures Headquarters headed by the OUAVM President. As we engage in educational and research activities, with possible prolonged outbreak in mind, we are taking the necessary steps to prevent the spread of the virus.
