Message
本研究室で扱う対象生物は「虫」（昆虫だけでなく、クモ、ダニ、多足類、甲殻類なども含む）です。研究室では、科学的な思考や発表方法の他、虫の採集、標本作成、分類・同定などの技術を学ぶことができます。なお、本研究室は、昆虫分類学を専門とした歴代教員の流れを汲んでおり、歴代教員や学生によって集められた昆虫標本約20万点を収蔵しています。そのため、これらの標本を活用した分類学・比較形態学の研究を行うことができます。本研究室は、生物学の基礎である分類学を研究できる全国でも数少ない研究室として知られています。

I am from Hiroshima Prefecture and arrived at Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine in April 2019. Before coming to Obihiro, I was involved in education and research with insect specimens at the Museum of Nature and Human Activities, Hyogo for five years. Before that, I worked for seven years at the Toyama Institute of Health, where I surveyed on sanitary pests. I would like to study more about insects and nature in Hokkaido together with everyone. |
