School of Agriculture

The School of Agriculture aims to develop professionals capable of playing leading roles in the wide-ranging fields of agriculture and animal husbandry. The school promotes scientific education based on the concept of “from the farm to the dining table,” incorporating life science, food science and environmental science, premised on a combination of veterinary medicine, agriculture and animal husbandry.

School of Cooperative Veterinary Medicine

Since 2012, Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine and Hokkaido University have jointly run the School of Cooperative Veterinary Medicine to provide world-leading veterinary education. The school provides advanced veterinary teaching characterized by practicality and international recognition amid the vast lands of Hokkaido leveraging the outstanding educational facilities and resources of both universities.
