School entrance exam

Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (OUAVM) requires international students, who do not have Japanese nationality, to take entrance examinations. They must follow application procedures and meet the following qualifications. Please refer to the admission guidelines for more details about the application procedures.

Requirements	One must meet all the following criteria 1 – 3: Do not have Japanese nationality Meet either of the following criteria: Have completed or are expected to complete 12 years of school education outside Japan as of March 31 of the year they are to enter OUAVM. Have an International Baccalaureate, Abitur, or Baccalaureat degree, and will be 18 years old as of March 31 of the year they are to enter OUAVM. Have taken the subjects designated by OUAVM of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) held in June and November a year before they wish to enter OUAVM. *Designated subjects: Japanese as a Foreign Language, Mathematics Course 2, and Science (choose two subjects from physics, chemistry and biology)
Notes	You can apply outside Japan, but you have to come to Japan to take the university examination. Click here for the details of the EJU
