Information for JICA Scholarship Program Applicants  (Last updated: July 28, 2026)

For inquiries regarding admission to OUAVM under the JICA Scholarship Program, please contact the International Student Office listed at the bottom of this page. To ensure a smooth application and selection process, please do not contact prospective academic supervisors directly regarding your research plan or the possibility of supervision.

３.Find a Prospective Supervisor Who is Available to Accept Students

You are required to provide the name of your preferred supervisor in the JICA application form. 
Please follow the steps below to find a prospective supervisor.

1. The names of supervisors and their research fields are provided at the end of each program description. Only  the supervisors in these list are available to accept students . 
   ・Program Description_Master’s Program
   ・Program Description_Doctoral Program_A
   ・Program Description_Doctoral Program_V
2. Once you find a field of research that matches your interests, please review the supervisor’s research details through the OUAVM website and other available sources.

 ４.Preliminary Consultation with the University

After selecting a prospective academic supervisor, applicants must contact the International Student Office. Please follow the steps below to facilitate the matching process.

1. Prepare the JICA-designated Preliminary Consultation Form.

2. Fill in  the Supervision Request Form (JICA applicant) .
3. Send document  1 and 2  by email along with your CV, final academic transcript, and research proposal.
