Israeli Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ruth Kahanoff paid a courtesy call on President Kiyoshi Okuda on August 28 (Mon.). The president outlined OUAVM, and they talked about the potential of research exchanges with Israel.
After that, they moved to the Large Animal Hospital and Clinical Research Building, where Professor Hisashi Inokuma of the Department of Applied Veterinary Medicine provided an outline of the facility. In the National Research Center for Protozoan Diseases, Director Noboru Inoue, a director of OUAVM, outlined research on protozoan diseases. They exchanged opinions at each facility.
