We held a seminar by Dr. Ryuji Yanase (University of Nottingham, UK) on July 3, 2025, at the PK Hall of our center. Dr. Yanase presented on “Architecture and molecular machinery of Leishmania adhesion in the sand fly vector” which is a discovery of molecules involved in the adhesion of Leishmania within the sandfly vector. A total of 16 participants, including graduate students, researchers, and faculty members attended the seminar, and active discussion was conducted after the presentation.
