On February 5, 2026, the 2nd NRCPD seminar of FY 2025 was held at the PK Hall. A total of 27 presenters—comprising 9 specially appointed assistant professors and postdoctoral researchers, 14 doctoral students, 1 master’s student, and 3 research students—gave presentations on the results and progress of their ongoing research. The presented topics covered a wide range of studies, including epidemiological investigations of protozoan parasites and arthropod vectors, cell biological and molecular analyses, elucidation of infection mechanisms, and the development of novel therapeutic agents.
On the day of the meeting, approximately 40 faculty members and students attended, and lively question-and-answer sessions and discussions were held. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for researchers to broaden their perspectives through interdisciplinary discussions and active exchange of ideas.
