Special seminar has been held online on October 28, 2020. We invited Dr. Nabi Oki (JICA Grassroots Projects, Uganda), Dr. Alex S.K. Gaithuma (NRCPD), and Dr. Hassan Hakimi (NRCPD) as speakers for the seminar as shown below. There were a total of 54 including 22 participants from abroad: Czech Republic, Turkey, Poland, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Philippines, Uganda, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, and Burkina Faso. Due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19, it is difficult to go and come to each other’s country. However, we had active discussions and spent a fruitful time during the online seminar.
The special seminar was held as part of a project for joint usage/research center, JSPS Core-to-Core Program “Establishment of international collaborating center for controlling tick-borne protozoan diseases”, and OIE seminar.
