Seminar information (Dr. GONG Haiyan; Associate Professor, Shanghai Veterinary Research Institute)

On November 19, 2019, Dr. GONG Haiyan (Associate Professor, Shanghai Veterinary Research Institute, China) gave a presentation titled “Variation in the microbiota of ticks with regards to geography, hosts, species, gender and temperature” at NRCPD. A total of 16 including PhD students, postdoctors, and researchers attended the seminar. Because metagenomic analysis is a recent topical content in tick research field, active discussion took place in the seminar. A part of her research topic is supported by Cooperative Research Grant of NRCPD, Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine. In addition, we exchanged opinions on the activities of our Tick project.
