National Research Center for Protozoan Diseases has been designated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as an international joint research center for controlling protozoan diseases. To accept a wide range of researchers who research protozoan diseases in Japan and abroad and further promote activities as a joint usage/research center, the Center invites applications for joint research every year.
On January 31st, 2025, the presentation meeting of the Joint Research Program was held.
From among the research themes selected so far, Dr. Hiroki Kaneko (Hamamatsu University School of Medicine), Dr. Kozue Sato (National Institute of Infectious Diseases), and Dr. Kishor Pandey (Tribhuvan University) presented the results of joint research. It was a total of 26 participants, both onsite and online.
