A special seminar by Prof. Panagiotis Karanis (JSPS Invitation Program-Invited Researcher, Professor, Medical School, University of Nicosia, Cyprus/ Professor, Medical Faculty, Cologne University, Germany) has been held on February 24, 2023, at PK Hall in National Research Center for Protozoan Diseases, Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine. A talk titled “Parasitic, emerging diseases: A 30-years journey” which mainly focuses on cryptosporidiosis was delivered by Prof. Karanis. A total of 23 professors, researchers, and PhD students have joined this seminar. This special seminar was supported by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Invitation Program.
