A special seminar by Dr. Ferda Sevinc (JSPS Invitation Program-Invited Researcher, Professor, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Selcuk University, Turkey) and Dr. Oriel Thekisoe (JSPS Invitation Program-Invited Researcher, Associate Professor, Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Management, North-West University) has been held on November 8, 2022, at PK Hall in National Research Center for Protozoan Diseases, Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine. The talks titled “Studies on tick-borne parasitic diseases of ruminants and veterinary education system in Turkey” and “Vectors and vector-borne pathogens research at North-West University in 2017-2022 and veterinary education in South Africa” were delivered by Dr. Sevinc and Dr. Thekisoe, respectively. A total of 27 professors, researchers, and PhD students have joined this seminar. This special seminar was supported by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Invitation Program.
