Circumstances of application:
I started my study as research student at Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, National Research Center for Protozoan Disease, Research Unit for Host Defense under supervision of Professor Yoshifumi Nishikawa. It was a great opportunity for me to study here at an international university and in an institution that specialized in my field of interest. Where I learned many techniques and acquired high experiences which encouraged me to complete my way in the research field by enrollment as a doctoral student in the same institution under supervision of Prof. Yoshifumi Nishikawa. Right away, after finishing my PhD course, I joined NRCPD as a foreign researcher for a postdoctoral position in the same lab to accomplish my research work.
Research activity in NRCPD:
My research study proposed the investigation of the host parasite interaction and identification the molecules responsible for pathogenesis or participate in the host’s defense mechanism against Neospora infection. Three different studies have been accomplished in this context.
