On 11th to 14th, January 2020, Emeritus Prof. Igarashi and Assist. Prof. Suganuma visited to Equine Disease Section, Tai Lung Veterinary Laboratory in Hong Kong. The horse racing in Hong Kong is one of the most famous horse racing in the word; Therefore, disease control in horses is an important task for horse racing association in Hong Kong. Equine Disease Section, Tai Lung Veterinary Laboratory in Hong Kong is the disease inspection and control section against infectious disease in horses. In this visiting, we gave lectures and suggestions for the diagnosis about equine piroplasmosis (by Emeritus Prof. Igarashi) and trypanosomosis (by Assist. Prof. Suganuma) as an activity of World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) reference laboratories.
