NRCPD and IVM have organized the 4th International Conference on Non-tsetse transmitted animal trypanosomeosis (NTTAT) in Khustai national park, Mongolia, during August 14th – 15th, 2019. This is the international conference focused on NTTAT (dourine and surra) and the etiological trypanosomes of these diseases (Trypanosoma equiperdum and T. evansi). To establish control measure against these diseases, the world organization of animal health experts for the diseases and researches participate the annual conference and discuss their research progress. In the conference, a total of 30 peoples from 8 countries participated in the conference and Dr. Suganuma (Assist. Prof., NRCPD) presented his research progress entitled “The screening of trypanocidal compounds extracted from Mongolian herbal plants against T. equiperdum Mongolian strains”. It was a significant opportunity to establishment of control strategy of NTTAT.
