脊椎動物の機能形態学的新発見研究テーマ
野生動物および家畜の機能形態学的および繁殖生物学的解析研究分野

解剖学は、幅広い視野に立って動物を考えることの出来る学問だと思っています。ある時は、壮大な進化の歴史の中で個体それ自身の謎を探究し、また、ある時は細胞や器官における普遍的な機能を追求します。よって、多くの研究分野とも自ずと接点が生まれてきます。解剖学教室では、自らの努力によって、多種多様な研究機会を得ることが出来るでしょう。
現在の研究テーマは、
- 野生動物の機能形態に関する研究（図 1）
- 野生動物の生殖腺および胎盤の発生および機能学的研究
- 家畜の生殖腺および胎盤の発生および機能学的研究などです。
現在、他の研究機関や大学、動物園・水族館、または畜大の他の先生方と様々な野生動物に関するプロジェクトを実行しています。また、教育的研究の一面として獣医師が必要とする臨床解剖学的データの蓄積も行っています。
