Introduction

There are many unelucidated diseases and lesions in animals. Therefore, my research works are aimed 1) to reveal the pathogenesis of newly recognized diseases/lesions, and 2) to reveal the unresolved points of the known disease/lesions via routine diagnostic services. In addition, I also carry out some pathogenesis study using animal experiments.

List of current research topics

Diagnostic pathology based research works:

  • Bovine virus diarrhea virus associated diseases: search for novel disease states
  • Perinatal brain damages in calves
  • Glomerular lesions and renal dysplasia of various animals species
  • Papillomavirus associated diseases (tumors) of various animals species
  • Protozoan diseases of various animals species
  • Neoplastic diseases of various animals species
  • Diseases in sea mammals etc

Experimental Research Works (mainly as collaborative works)

  • Pathological analyses for infectious diseases (bacterial, protozoan & viral diseases)

Self introduction

I am continuing my research works to clarify the mechanisms of various diseases and lesions. Because there are many unexplained diseases and lesions, I would like to reveal these issues as many as possible.
