1.JICA 食の安全確保のための人畜共通感染症対策コース
背景・目的
21世紀に迎える食料不足・飢餓に関しては、その対応策が世界的な重要課題とされている。食の安全確保に関する人畜共通感染症には、原虫病、媒介節足動物、炭疽病、鳥インフルエンザ、ＢＳＥなどがあり、それぞれの病態、感染経路、診断方法は病原体の種類によって異なっている。これらの感染症に関する最新の知識や診断技術なくしては、食の安全確保に関する正確な情報の把握、制圧対策の確立は困難である。本コースでは、開発途上国の中堅クラスの指導的研究者および上級行政専門技術者等が人獣共通感染症に関する最新知識を修得し、先端技術研究分野での共同研究をとおして、自国の「食の安全確保」のための人獣共通感染症対策の中心的役割を果たす上級専門研究者を養成することを目的としている。
研修内容
帯広畜産大学原虫病研究センターにおいて、研修員の希望を考慮して研修目的に応じた最適な研究分野に配慮し、研究分野責任者の直接指導を行う。担当受入研究分野は、1.ゲノム機能学分野、2.耐病性遺伝子工学分野、3.節足動物衛生工学分野、4.高度診断学分野、5.先端予防治療学分野、6.食品有害微生物分野、7.特定疾病分野の7分野でそれぞれ診断、治療、予防と宿主病態応答の先端研究技術の修得を指導教員との共同研究を通して広く行う。

JICA: Advanced Research Course on Control of Zoonoses for Food Safety
Background･Objects
Food safety has increasingly become an important public health concern. Increase in productivity and securing stable food supply of animal protein is largely dependent on control of important protozoan and other zoonoses. Efforts in curtailing the spread of zoonoses can only be achieved through collaborative efforts, including research-capacity built-up in developing countries. Accordingly, this training course is especially for the backbone researchers and senior administrative technical researchers, to train them as advanced technical researchers who will accomplish the zoonoses measures in their respective countries through acquiring the latest knowledge of the zoonoses research and joint research in the high technology field.
Training Contents
Considering the requests from the participants, they will be assigned to a suitable research field and directly guided by the professors in National Research Center for Protozoan Diseases, Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine. The major subjects of the host research fields are (1)Functional Genomics and Genetic Biochemistry, (2)Epidemiology and Control of Protozoan Diseases , (3) Molecular Genetics of Vectors, (4) Molecular Diagnosis of Protozoan Diseases, (5) Advanced Preventive Medicine, (6) Food-borne Bacterial Disease and Chemotherapy, (7) Emerging and Re-emerging Diseases.
In the each fields, advanced research techniques for diagnosis, treatment, prevention and host immune response will be acquired through the joint research with the professors.
