Statistics, Information Studies and Bioinformatics
Kayano Laboratory, Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine

Research Interests: Bioinformatics, Multivariate analysis, Machine learning, Data mining, Omics data

Our research interest is to develop statistical methods in biology. Particularly,
our current research focuses on statistical analysis (e.g. multivariate analysis)
for omics data including transcriptome and metabolome data. We also apply
developed statistical and bioinformatics techniques to the problem in
veterinary medicine and agriculture. The statistical and bioinformatics methods
are often based on machine learning and data mining.
