家畜解剖学講座 Laboratory of Veterinary Anatomy






講座の沿革


 1942年4月,三須幹男教授が着任され,家畜解剖学を担当された。1949年5月,三須帯広
農業専門学校教授が帯広畜産大学助教授に発令(1955年教授,1981年3月停年退官)。1958年
5月,山下忠幸講師が着任(1960年助教授に昇任,1981年4月教授,1994年3月停年退官)。
1964年4月,杉本恭悦帯広畜産大学教務職員が着任し(翌年,助手に昇任,1966年3月退職),
教官が三人体制となる。1966年4月山田純三助手着任(1981年4月助教授,1994年4月教授,
現在に至る)。1966年12月,大型電子顕微鏡(JEM-7)が設置され,解剖学の研究に本格的に使
用され始める。1970年3月,冷蔵室や標本保管室などを備えた新解剖室が完し,肉眼解剖の
実習に活用され始める。1974年5月,本学として初めての走査型電子顕微鏡が設置された。
1981年4月北村延夫助手着任(1994年6月助教授,現在に至る)。1995年3月,岐阜大学大学
院連合獣医学研究科を修了したSrihadi Agungpriyono(インドネシア)君へ本講座から初めて
博士の学位を出す。1995年4月,本道栄一助手着任し,現在に至る。



研究の特徴

 本講座は,現在,方法論的には肉眼解剖から光学顕微鏡さらには電子顕微鏡を用いた超微
構造的研究まで幅広く行い,これらのデーターを画像解析装置を用いて解析し,消化器と生
殖器の機能を形態学的側面から解明すべく鋭意研究を実施している。
 助手の本道は生殖腺,特に精巣での精子発生の系統発生学的研究を光学顕微鏡レベルから
電子顕微鏡レベルで実施し,さらに分子生物学的手法を形態学的分野に導入し,これまで精細
胞では証明されていない下垂体ホルモンの一つであるプロラクチンに対するレセプター蛋白の
メッセンジャーRNA(mRNA)の発現を証明することでセルトリ細胞の機能に迫っている。
 助教授の北村は草食動物の消化管の構造を研究している。特に反芻動物の胃壁内での神経
分布を明らかにすると共にそれらの神経に各種のペプチドやカテコラミンの存在を明らかに
し,さらにそこに知覚神経終末の存在を免疫組織化学的に証明しつつある。
 教授の山田は北村と共同して消化管内分泌細胞の系統発生を魚類から哺乳類までの各種
動物を用いて免疫細胞化学的に研究している。さらに外分泌細胞に研究を拡大し,牛の第四
胃において三種の蛋白分解前酵素が同一細胞の同一顆粒に共存することを電顕レベルの免疫
細胞化学で証明した。ラクトフェリンの組織局在をも明らかにしている。近年は生殖器へ研
究を拡大し,卵巣や精巣でのインヒビンの細胞局在を免疫細胞化学的に研究している。
 本道助手の着任により,三人で協力し,これまでの研究をさらに発展させるべく,これ
までの純形態学的方法および特定の物質の存在を免疫学的手法で証明する免疫組織・細胞化
学的方法から発展して,分子生物学的手法を形態学的研究分野に導入し,特定の物質の合
成に関与するmRNAの発現を形態学的に証明するin situハイブリダイゼイション法,さら
にこの感度を増幅してパラフィン切片でmRNAの発現を証明できるin situ RT-PCR法を
確立させるべく日々研究に励んでいる。
