Masters course
Master's Program in Bioresource Science
This program's thrust is to produce specialists skilled in the improvement, formulation, and development of bio-industrial processes/systems, applicable in optimizing the utilization of biomaterials from dairy, meat and crop products, and natural resources, for purposes of conservation and sustainable agricultural development. Its research agenda revolves primarily around the different components and facets of environmentally-sustainable natural degradation or bioconversion (bioreactors) of organic agricultural wastes, including cell cultivation, fermentation and brewing technology, and other high-end research activities. Students must be well-grounded in organic and physical chemistry and biochemistry.
