The United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences, Iwate University
The United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences (UGAS) was established by the
unity of scientists, institutions, and equipment of the three Graduate Schools of
Agriculture (M.Sc.) of Hirosaki University, Iwate University, and Yamagata
University, and one Graduate School of Animal Husbandry (M.Sc.) of Obihiro University
of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine. Each graduate school is characterized by
unique activities and research.
